This Refund Policy explains when fees paid for the GlobalGov platform and related add-ons are refundable. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. If anything here is unclear, email billing@globalgov.io before you purchase.
1. Subscriptions
Monthly plans: you can cancel anytime. Your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period. Fees already charged are non-refundable, and partial months are not pro-rated.
Annual plans: you are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial purchase — request within those 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, the annual fee is non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal and keep access through the end of the year you paid for.
2. Add-ons & Credits
API / MCP add-on: refunds follow the same rule as the plan it is attached to (monthly or annual, as described above).
Translation credits: unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable.
3. Refund Requests
To request a refund, email billing@globalgov.io from the email address on the account, within the applicable window above. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription yourself at any time in Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Before You Dispute a Charge
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact billing@globalgov.io first. We can almost always resolve billing questions faster than a card dispute, and we are happy to help.
6. Exceptions
We may issue discretionary refunds outside the terms above in appropriate circumstances, such as an extended service outage. Where you have non-waivable rights under applicable consumer-protection law, this policy does not limit those rights.
