The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) is the single, common vendor-registration portal and procurement portal for the UN system, shared by dozens of UN organizations and affiliated agencies. Companies register once on UNGM to be considered by multiple UN entities, rather than registering separately with each agency. Registration is free of charge and open to suppliers worldwide. Registration is tiered (Basic, Level 1, Level 2) based on the estimated monetary value of contracts a vendor wishes to pursue with the UN Secretariat.

UNGM is an international portal open to suppliers worldwide; no local entity or in-country establishment is required. UNGM's core services are provided free to all suppliers globally.
Visit www.ungm.org and click 'Register' on the home page, then choose the supplier/vendor account type (options include Suppliers, Individual consultants, Implementing partners, Trade Promotion Organizations, and International Organizations). Accept the UN Supplier Code of Conduct to proceed.
Enter a valid company email address and submit. UNGM sends an activation email; click the link in that email to activate your UNGM account and set your login credentials.
After activation, complete the Basic registration profile across the required sections: General company information (company name, senior official, license/registration number), Address, Countries/area of operation, Contacts, and the eligibility Declaration. Basic registration is mandatory to participate in UN Secretariat tender exercises and covers estimated contract awards under USD 150,000. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
Under the 'Coding' tab, select the UNSPSC commodity codes that match the goods or services your company offers, and save. Note: the UN Secretariat considers ONLY the first seven (7) codes listed, so choose your most relevant codes first.
Based on the codes selected, the relevant UN organizations that procure those goods/services appear under the 'UN Organizations' tab. Select the UN organizations you wish to do business with and click 'Submit to these UN organizations.' Each selected organization reviews and evaluates the submitted registration.
To be eligible for higher-value UN Secretariat contracts, upgrade beyond Basic. Level 1 (estimated contract awards USD 150,000 to USD 500,000) requires a certificate of incorporation (or equivalent) verifying legal status, at least three business references, and a minimum three-year business history. Level 2 (estimated contract awards over USD 500,000) additionally requires three formal reference letters and audited financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) with external accountant reports for the last three years.
