Der Schwerpunkt des Leistungsbedarfs liegt in der Sicherstellung des Betriebs, der Wartung, des Supports sowie der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung bestehender Fachapplikationen. Im Rahmen der neuen Rahmenvereinbarung sollen die aktuell erbrachten Services und vertraglich geregelten Leistungen nahtlos fortgeführt beziehungsweise übernommen werden. Darüber hinaus ist vorzusehen, dass bei Bedarf auch Leistungen zur Konzeption, Entwicklung, Erweiterung und Integration neuer oder wesentlich ausgebauter Anwendungen abgerufen werden können. Zu den betroffenen Fachapplikationen zählen im Bereich Bahnsysteme insbesondere Krisenmanagement Software, Greenlight, TEVIS und SMART. Im Bereich Streckenmanagement und Anlagenentwicklung umfasst dies unter anderem iGleis, iOberbau, iOS, Baustelleninfo, DQV sowie verschiedene Messtechnik-Applikationen.
