The Government of Bangladesh is implementing the Inclusive Services and Opportunities for Host Communities and Displaced Rohingya Population (ISO) Project with World Bank financing. The Project Development Objective is to improve access to human capital services for vulnerable host communities and displaced Rohingya populations. Component 3, implemented by the Department of Social Services (DSS) under the Ministry of Social Welfare (MoSW), supports social care, child protection, and economic empowerment interventions for the Host Communities and Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) in Chattogram Division. Under this assignment, DSS intends to strengthen the professional capacity of its social workers to provide inclusive, rights-based and person-centred services to older persons and persons with disabilities, including assessment, care planning, case management, referral, safeguarding and community-based support.
