                                                                                              Specific Procurement Notice                                                                                                Invitation for Prequalification Country:  Kingdom of Bhutan Name of Project:  Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia (Access) – Bhutan Project Contract Title:  Construction of Gelephu-Tareythang Road and Bridges Loan No./Credit No./Grant No:  IDA 77560 (Credit)/IDAE4310 (grant) Prequalification Reference No : ACCESS/DOST/WD-1, ACCESS/DOST/WD-2 and ACCESS/DOST/WD-3 1. The Royal Government of Bhutan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the proposed  Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia (ACCESS) – Bhutan Project , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for  ACCESS/DOST/WD-1, ACCESS/DOST/WD-2, and ACCESS/DOST/WD-3  for the Construction of Gelephu-Tareythang Road and Bridges. 2. The Department of Surface Transport (DoST), Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MoIT), Royal Government of Bhutan, intends to prequalify contractors for the following work packages under the Gelephu-Tareythang Road Project involving the construction of 12,600 m of roadway and major bridge structures.
