• The Republic of Moldova has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sustainable Transition through Energy Efficiency in Moldova Project (STEEM) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Installation of Individual Heat Substations and associated piping for public buildings in Chisinau DH system (Plant - Design, Supply & Installation).
• The Moldova Energy Projects Implementation Unit (MEPIU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the or the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Individual Heat Substations and associated piping for public buildings in the Chisinau District Heating system.
• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB), in accordance with the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and the applicable World Bank Standard Procurement Document for Works – Request for Bids (Two-Envelope with Rated Criteria), September 2025, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
