Opportunity Overview

OXCCU has developed a novel, patented process for the catalytic conversion of biogenic CO2 and green H2 into long-chain hydrocarbons. This is successfully demonstrated at a 1.2L/day pilot plant located at Oxford Airport and produces a non-refined synthetic crude "OXEFUEL". OXEFUEL is unique in its composition and conventional refinery solutions are not suitable for processing at this scale. Consequently, OXCCU will design and validate a customised micro-refinery specifically for producing a SAF blend component, which is certifiable under ASTM standards. The produced fuel will be a drop-in SAF with minimised non-CO2 emissions, offering significant economic and environmental benefits to the aviation industry by removing the need to reconfigure existing systems.
