GlobalGov continuously collects, normalizes, translates, and links public procurement records from official government publication systems around the world. This is what that looks like in the database today.
Coverage depth varies by market, and we would rather show you the real numbers than a wall of flags. The table below is computed directly from the live database: how many countries in each region have procurement records on GlobalGov, and how many solicitations we track there.
| Region | Countries | Solicitations Tracked | Coverage Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Europe | 46 | 5.4M+ | Deepest regional coverage: EU-wide publication plus national and sub-national portals across Western, Central, and Eastern Europe. |
| Americas | 40 | 1.9M+ | North, Central, and South America plus the Caribbean, backed by the deepest contract award history on the platform for US federal work. |
| Asia-Pacific | 32 | 900K+ | Australia and New Zealand lead the region, with coverage across Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands. |
| Africa | 50 | 680K+ | Broad continental coverage including national portals and donor-funded procurement across Sub-Saharan Africa. |
| Central & South Asia | 16 | 618K+ | Strong Central Asian coverage, including one of the largest national datasets on the platform, plus South Asian markets. |
| Middle East & North Africa | 19 | 17K+ | Our newest coverage area. Many MENA markets publish less procurement data publicly; we track what is officially published and expand as portals open up. |
Figures computed from the live GlobalGov database on July 4, 2026. Counts change daily as new records are ingested. Multilateral and development-bank procurement spanning multiple countries is tracked in addition to the national figures above.
Every record on GlobalGov originates from an official government publication system: national procurement portals, official gazettes, and public award registries. We do not scrape rumors or aggregate third-party newsletters. Here is what happens between publication and your screen.
Ingestion pipelines poll official publication systems regularly. Over the past seven days, 1.1M+ records were added or updated.
Every source has its own format. Records are mapped into one consistent structure: values converted to USD, dates standardized, categories aligned.
Titles and agency names are translated into English at ingest, and full records translate on demand into the language your team works in.
Solicitations connect to the agencies that issued them, the awards that followed, and the vendors that won, so every record carries its history.
We deliberately do not publish a system-by-system source list. Our coverage map is part of what you pay for. If you need to verify coverage for a specific market before buying, ask us at globalgov.io/contact and we will show you.
