Opportunity Overview
The Government of the Republic of Turkey has received a loan from the World Bank to finance the "Turkey Second Irrigation Modernization and Water Efficiency Project," which is to be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The objective of the Project under this loan is to improve irrigation service delivery and water efficiency in order to strengthen the climate resilience of selected irrigation projects.
The General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DS) intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to payments for individual consultancy services for the "Engagement of an Independent Expert for the Preparation of Dam Safety Inspection and Evaluation Reports for Dams under TIMP2 – Group 2 (Mamasn Dam, Ayranc Dam, Naras Dam)."
The consultancy services covered by this announcement generally entail the preparation and execution of the following activities:
1. Dam Safety Inspection and Evaluation
2. Detailed Dam Safety Inspection
The assignment is scheduled to be completed within 110 calendar days from the site handover. A detailed "Terms of Reference" for the assignment is provided in the attachment. Expressions of Interest must be delivered by the Consultant/Expert in writing—either by hand, registered mail, e-mail, or courier—to the address below no later than 17:00 (local time) on 04.11.2026.
