1.The Government of Uganda represented by the National Information Technology Authority Uganda (NITA-U) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the: Uganda Digital Acceleration Project-Government Network (UDAP-GOVNET), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Last Mile Connectivity & WiFi for Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDA), Local Government, Target User Groups and Refugee & Host Communities.

2.National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Proposers for Last Mile Connectivity & WiFi for Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDA), Local Government, Target User Groups and Refugees & Host Communities under two (2) Lots as follows.

Design, supply, installation, integration, commissioning and support of fibre-based last-mile connectivity infrastructure, including XGS-PON, IP/Data Network equipment, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and hybrid power systems, with integration to the National Backbone Infrastructure (NBI) and centralized network management and monitoring

Provision, installation, integration and support of satellite connectivity infrastructure, including Community Gateways, 2 Gbps Irrevocable Right of Use (IRU) satellite capacity, and portable satellite terminals for customer premises, with integration to the Government/NBI network where applicable.
