- Traffic Management Act 2004 (updated)
- Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 8 (updated)
- Safety at Street Works and Road Works Code of Practice (COP) as amended
- Permit schemes (especially conditions relating to traffic management)
- Highway Authority and Utilities Committee (HAUC) Advice Notes as applicable
