Strategy Consulting Services

National Grid is running this global procurement to seek suppliers capable of delivering strategy consulting services across both the United Kingdom and the United States.
This scope covers:
• Provision of corporate strategy services
• Development of strategic plans and roadmaps for all Business Units and Functions
• Optimizing Group organization structures
• Governance and programme management processes to achieve the organizational vision
• Implementation of transformational change to achieve corporate or business unit strategic goals
• Definition of success measures to implementation support and capability building
• Change management and strategy implementation
• Group-level regulatory advisory, covering enterprise-wide regulatory strategy, policy positioning, and major regulatory decisions
• Strategic process design and improvement to enable consistent and efficient execution across the enterprise
• Provision of overarching strategic input / advisory support on topics related to specialty domains (e.g. Regulation, Operations)
Services may support regulated utility activities, non-regulated business activities, and programmes spanning both environments. Suppliers should be capable of operating across the full range of Group, Business Unit, and Functional requirements.
The scope explicitly excludes Technical Engineering Consulting Services, IT Professional Services, and PR services.
The estimated value stated in this notice relates to anticipated expenditure under the UK framework arrangements only. This procurement forms part of a broader global sourcing programme under which separate US contractual arrangements may also be established.
