Opportunity Overview
The Statement of Work covers the integration of an Emergency Power Off (EPO) system into an existing electrical and UPS installation. The work is limited to the addition of EPO functionality and associated control wiring, interfaces, and verification activities only. No replacement, relocation, or upgrade of existing UPS units, batteries, or distribution equipment is included, except as required to properly interface the EPO system.
The intent of this work is to ensure that activation of a single EPO device results in shutdown of all UPS units and tripping of the main circuit breakers, while preventing stored battery energy from supplying the load, in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) Article 645.11.
