The Government of Albania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Building Resilient Bridges Project (BRBP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the civil works for Rehabilitation Works of Murrashi Bridge. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations. 2. The Albanian Road Authority hereby invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the rehabilitation of the Murashi Bridge, located in the Elbasan region. The works under this contract consist of rehabilitation and repair of the existing bridge structure and associated elements, including deck rehabilitation, localized structural repairs, drainage improvements, and sidewalks. No demolition of the main bridge structure or construction of a new bridge is foreseen under this contract. The contract duration is twelve (12) months, followed by a Defects Liability Period of twelve (12) months. Qualification requirements are set out in the Bidding Documents. Bidders shall meet the minimum qualification criteria specified therein. a.
