De opdracht omvat de huur van de kerstverlichting, evenals alle daarmee samenhangende prestaties, waaronder de levering, plaatsing, aansluiting, het preventief en correctief onderhoud gedurende de volledige verlichtingsperiode, de herstellingen in geval van defecten of schade, de demontage na afloop van de eindejaarsperiode en het transport van en naar de opslagplaats van de opdrachtnemer. De kerstverlichting dient gedurende de volledige looptijd van de overeenkomst een verzorgde, veilige en uniforme uitstraling te waarborgen. De opdrachtnemer staat in voor een tijdige plaatsing, een continue goede werking van de installaties en een snelle interventie bij eventuele storingen, zodat de beleving en aantrekkelijkheid van de gemeentelijke handels- en ontmoetingskernen tijdens de eindejaarsperiode maximaal worden verzekerd. De opdracht betreft een raamovereenkomst.
