De inschrijvers worden ook uitgenodigd een toegestane variant in te dienen die bestaat uit 6 veegmachines elektrisch aangedreven + onderhoudscontract (8 jaar). Er wordt gevraagd om 3 veegmachines uit te rusten met een derde onkruidborstel aan de voorkant. Bijgevolg worden er 3 veegmachines gevraagd zonder derde onkruidborstel aan de voorkant. De veegmachines worden ingezet in een verstedelijkte omgeving, daardoor zijn een grote wendbaarheid en compacte afmetingen van de machine belangrijk. De machine is betrouwbaar en uitgevoerd met kwalitatieve materialen. De machine heeft een stevige veegconstructie om breuk en aanrijschade te beperken. Het hoge comfort van de bestuurder en bijrijder zijn belangrijk: dit uit zich in goede zetels, goede zichtbaarheid, klimaatcontrole, in- en uitstap gemak. De machine is eenvoudig in bediening en in dagelijks onderhoud en reiniging. De voertuigen worden ingeschreven als machines en hoeven daarom niet naar de jaarlijkse keuring.
