Binh Duong Province's Water Environment Improvement Project

The development objective of the Binh Duong Province’s Water Environment Improvement Project for Viet Nam is to reduce environmental pollution caused by urban wastewater in order to protect water quality and increase people’s access to improved wastewater services in the project areas of Binh Duong Province. This project has two components. 1) The first component, Wastewater infrastructure development, has the following sub-components:(i) Tan Uyen City; (ii) Thuan An City; and (iii) Di An City. 2) The second component, Institutional strengthening and implementation support, has the following sub-components: (i) Preparation of an integrated wastewater management orientation in Binh Duong Province; (ii) Project implementation support; and (iii) Compensation and site clearance.
