Os equipamentos deverão atender, no mínimo, às seguintes especificações técnicas:
Desfibrilador Externo Automático (DEA);
Equipamento novo, sem uso anterior, de primeiro fornecimento, destinado ao atendimento de pacientes adultos e pediátricos,
Tecnologia de desfibrilação bifásica;
Operação automática e/ou semiautomática;
Utilização em pacientes adultos e pediátricos, mediante eletrodos pediátricos específicos ou sistema de atenuação de energia, conforme a tecnologia do fabricante;
Energia de desfibrilação ajustada automaticamente segundo protocolo do fabricante, com energia máxima de 200 J ou superior, conforme a tecnologia do equipamento, permitindo a aplicação de choques em pacientes adultos e pediátricos, com energia reduzida para uso pediátrico mediante eletrodos pediátricos, sistema de atenuação ou tecnologia equivalente. Sistema automático de análise do ritmo cardíaco; Sistema de segurança que impeça a aplicação de choque quando não indicado;
Instruções operacionais em língua portuguesa, por comandos de voz e/ou recursos visuais;
Auxílio à Reanimação Cardiopulmonar (RCP) por metrônomo ou tecnologia equivalente;
