Die Technologieplattform für hydraulische Maschinen (PTMH) der EPFL beabsichtigt die schlüsselfertige Modernisierung des drehzahlveränderlichen elektrischen Antriebs der Hauptspeisepumpe ihres Prüfstands (Einheit PF1). Der Umfang umfasst Lieferung, Montage und Inbetriebnahme eines neuen dreiphasigen Wechselstrommotors von rund 900 kW sowie des zugehörigen Niederspannungs-Frequenzumrichters als Ersatz für den vorhandenen Gleichstromantrieb, einschließlich sämtlicher mechanischer und elektrischer Schnittstellen zur bestehenden Anlage. Die Ausrüstung dient hydraulischen Leistungsprüfungen in messtechnischer Qualität (IEC 60193). Schwerpunkte sind langfristige Zuverlässigkeit, Verfügbarkeit des Kundendienstes, geringe netzseitige Oberschwingungsverzerrung, Energierückspeisefähigkeit (Vier-Quadranten-Betrieb) und die Integration in das Steuerungs- und Datenerfassungssystem der Plattform. Varianten der Umrichtertopologie sind zulässig, sofern alle funktionalen Anforderungen erfüllt werden.
