Product Director (PdD) Common Tactical Truck (CTT), located at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, is the office responsible for modernization of the Army’s Heavy Tactical Wheeled Vehicle (TWV) fleet.
CTT is a Family of Vehicles focused on modernization of the Heavy Tactical Vehicle Fleet. It will replace all capabilities currently conducted by the Palletized Load System (PLS), the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT), and the M915 Line Haul Tractor. The CTT will enable the Army to perform delivery of all classes of supply across all tactical mobility levels as far forward as the mission requires while equipping the Joint Services with improved battlefield distribution capability, including modernization through Predictive Logistics /Telematics, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomy-ready, and drive-by-wire technology.
