The subject matter of this public procurement is the conclusion of a contract under which the selected supplier will provide and install the mobile component of the ETCS application, Level 2 (L2), compliant with Baseline 3, version 3.6.0. The subject matter of the contract will be installed in existing rail vehicles that are currently in regular service. Therefore, this does not involve installation in new rail vehicles. The vehicles are equipped with the on-board unit of the national train protection system, type “LS 06,” manufactured by AŽD Praha, a.s. For connection to the “GSM-R” network, a VS67 locomotive set manufactured by “T-CZ,” a.s., is installed on the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with an RE1xx series electronic speedometer unit.
