The subject of the request for proposals is the renewal and modernization of the automation, visualization, and network technology at two water treatment plants and one elevated water tank. The goal of this project is to upgrade the systems to the current state of the art, taking into account requirements for cybersecurity, network segmentation, availability, and operational safety in accordance with the “NIS-2” requirements. The scope of work includes the planning, delivery, installation, parameterization, programming, migration, commissioning, and documentation of the automation technology, including the renewal of existing “SPS” systems, decentralized automation components, and the necessary communication and telecontrol interfaces. The automation technology will be upgraded based on the Siemens system platform using the latest SIMATIC S7-1500 controllers, including engineering in the TIA portal. The central process visualization system is to be supplied, configured, and commissioned ready for operation based on Siemens WinCC Unified. The visualization system must be integrated with the new automation systems to be installed as well as with the existing technical infrastructure. Furthermore, the scope of work includes the renewal and expansion of the industrial network infrastructure, including active network components, network segmentation, secure communication connections, remote access solutions, and the components required to implement a state-of-the-art “IT” and “OT” security concept.
