1. Background and damage picture Since its construction around 2000, the CBS building at Solbjerg Plads has been plagued by leaks in the facades and roofs. Water ingress has been detected in parts of buildings A, B and C to the south and in buildings D and F. At present, no water ingress has been recorded in other parts of the building complex. In the period 2022–2024, the Technological Institute has carried out physical inspections and analyses of roofs and facades in various places in the buildings. The investigations have revealed construction errors that can be attributed to the construction of the buildings. At the same time, significant degradation of organic materials and joints in the facades has been detected. The conditions do not constitute a current structural risk, but entail an increased future risk of further water ingress into the parts of the building that are not being renovated.2. Scope of the tender and form of contract The task is tendered as a turnkey contract, where the General Contractor has overall responsibility for design and execution within the framework and functional requirements stated in the tender documents. This tender includes design and improvement of selected parts of facades and roofs on the CBS building at Solbjerg Plads. The task concerns a renovation task that must be carried out while the buildings are in operation. This places special demands on planning, coordination and management of the execution of the work, so that the work is carried out on time, in the agreed quality and with the least possible inconvenience to the users of the buildings. 3.
