Opportunity Overview

The Defence Medical Academy (DMA) delivers a broad portfolio of medical training courses across Defence and requires a responsive, efficient and compliant solution for the provision, sustainment and support of high-fidelity medical simulation manikins.
To support the development of this requirement, the Authority invites suppliers of relevant products and services to attend an engagement event at Defence Medical Services (DMS), Whittington during the week commencing 21 September 2026. Exact dates and attendance arrangements will be confirmed during the week commencing 17 August 2026.
The event will provide suppliers with an opportunity to present their products, capabilities and associated support services to an audience of Defence medical professionals comprising both military and civilian personnel.
The purpose of this market engagement activity is to:
• Improve the Authority's understanding of products and solutions currently available within the market.
• Explore innovative technologies, capabilities and support models available across the industry.
• Inform the development of the Authority's future procurement strategy and requirements.
• Support wider curriculum development and training planning activities.
This requirement is driven by a significant increase in student throughput across Defence medical training and the continued expansion of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC(UK)) training. In parallel, the Authority must increase its ability to deliver multiple training courses concurrently in order to meet current and future operational demand. Existing training assets are insufficient to support the simultaneous delivery of multiple courses whilst maintaining the levels of realism, training quality and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) compliance required by the Authority.

The Authority is exploring the establishment of a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of high-fidelity medical simulation...
