This project seeks to develop novel high-flux and high-intensity sources of ultracold Yb/Sr atoms in support of state-of-the-art quantum sensors: optical atomic clocks and atom interferometers. Beyond conventional pulsed atom sources, we aim to develop a continuous ultracold-atom source, allowing unprecedented levels of instrument precision and enabling robust high-spec transportable quantum devices.
