Highway Maintenance Term Contracts (232621HE)

Lot 1 - Highways Maintenance Works (HMW)
Reactive maintenance such as patching, pothole repair, and footway repaving
Emergency highway maintenance, with callout availability 24 hours a day and 365 days a year
Planned maintenance such as resurfacing, repaving, gully treatments and so on
Full regime of winter maintenance
Drainage maintenance such as gully cleansing
Signing and lining for carriageways, footways, cycle tracks and other areas as required, including manufacture and maintenance of signs
Vehicle crossings for residential and commercial sites
Act as Principal Contractor for the above works, as per Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)

Lot 2 - Highway & Civil Improvements (HCI)
Highways engineering works such as traffic calming, traffic management, high street improvements, cycle and walking facilities, and regeneration schemes
Works associated with planning approvals such as section 38/278 works, and section 106 or CIL-funded schemes
Parking schemes such as Controlled Parking Zone implementation
Signage and markings for carriageways, footways, cycle tracks and other areas as part of projects, including manufacture and maintenance of signs
Structural and civil engineering works
Utilities and drainage works
Controlled Parking Zone including signing and carriageway lining
Footway and carriageway works to housing estates, schools or parks
Site set-up and pre-construction activities including surveys, setting out, and temporary traffic management
Act as Principal Contractor for the above works, as per Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)
