Thomas Jones Primary School Catering Tender

Thomas Jones Primary School is putting its catering contract out to tender with a contract start date of 1st November 2026. Thomas Jones is a one form entry school serving the local community and has enjoyed many successes over the years with a track record of excellence.
In terms of academic outcomes, results are astonishing: end of Key Stage 2 SATs results is amongst the top 1% of schools nationally, with an astonishing 80% of pupils achieving at greater depth in mathematics. We appear in the latest edition of the Good School’s Guide in glowing terms. Thomas Jones was inspected by Ofsted in October 2023. It was awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all categories. This is the third consecutive time this has happened (2006, 2009 and 2023). Re-accredited as a ‘World Class School’, one of only five primary settings in the country accorded this award, we have been presented with a Royal Borough Excellence Plaque and an Evening Standard London School of the Year trophy. Until recently, the Head was a National Leader of Education, and in 2016 was awarded an OBE for Services to Education. In December 2025 we were, for a tenth consecutive year, identified by The Sunday Times as one of the UK’s ‘Top Schools’, on this occasion being awarded the accolade of ‘Primary School of the Year’.
