1. Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor - Georgia Accessibility and Transport Enhancement Project (TCTC - GATE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Construction of Badiauri-Chalaubani (Lot 4) and Chalaubani – Bakurtsikhe (Lot 5) Road Sections of Tbilisi–Bakurtsikhe–Lagodekhi (Kakheti) Highway. These contracts will be jointly financed by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.

2. The Roads Department of Georgia under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Badiauri-Chalaubani (Lot 4) and Chalaubani – Bakurtsikhe (Lot 5) Road Sections of Tbilisi–Bakurtsikhe–Lagodekhi (Kakheti) Highway. Time for Completion of works is 900 days for each lot, followed by a Defects Notification Period of 1,825 days (five years).

Lot 4 works comprise the construction of a four-lane divided motorway extending from the Badiauri Interchange of Lot 3, to Ch. 75+100, after the designed Chalaubani Interchange, with a total chainage length of approximately 21.7 km.
