The Government of Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kakheti Connectivity Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (RDMRDI) now invites eligible Individual Consultants (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the following services: International Road/Highway Engineer. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The CVs of the candidates should cover the requested information.
International Road/Highway Engineer will assist the Roads Department in ensuring full compliance with Georgian laws, relevant technical regulations, engineering standards, World Bank requirements, and internationally recognized practices. This role involves close daily collaboration with RD and encompasses tasks such as preparing road designs, supervising construction activities, coordinating site visits, and other related duties.

The Qualification Requirements for selection of the Consultant are as follows:
• Master`s Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of experience in road projects on a similar position;
• Minimum of 5 years of International experience in road design/construction/reconstruction/rehabilitation and/or construction supervision assignments on a similar position;
