B2244.0- BBR AB Concrete Restoration and Maintenance Work DIN 18349 Over time, the load-bearing reinforced concrete structure of the Federal Foreign Office’s administrative building has been damaged—in some cases severely—by chloride-contaminated meltwater that has seeped into the structure. The damage identified in the reinforced concrete structure must be repaired in accordance with the specifications of the attached repair plan. The methods to be used are described in detail in the repair plan. The damaged areas are listed in a catalog of measures—which forms part of the repair plan—and precisely located on the building plans. The work will be carried out in sections during the first and second construction phases (UG). The structural elements to be treated include the top and bottom surfaces of slabs, columns, and beams. Scope of the requested work: Preliminary inspections identified a total of approximately 100 damaged areas of varying sizes and severity across a net floor area of approximately 11,500 m² (1st and 2nd UG). Purpose of the requested services: - Preservation of value and functionality through the rehabilitation of the primary load-bearing structure consisting of reinforced concrete components - Extension of the service life of the existing administrative building Schedule Start of construction: 02/2026 Completion of construction: 01/2028
