Central Ventilation System for Daycare Center: The daycare center is ventilated via a central supply/exhaust air unit with heat recovery (air volume flow approx. 5,200 m³/h). The ventilation unit will be installed outdoors next to the building in the green space. The foundations for the installation will be constructed by the client. A structure-borne noise-decoupled substructure will be constructed by the contractor. The integrated air heater is supplied via the primary hot water line. An empty housing for a future cooling coil is provided, but is currently unfitted. A possible retrofit (chiller for direct evaporator coil) is optional. The unit already incorporates silencers for outside air (AU), exhaust air (FO), supply air (ZU), and exhaust air (AB). An additional silencer will be installed in the supply air duct outdoors. The ventilation ducts enter the building along the exterior facade, penetrating a wall into a storage room on the ground floor. From there, the air ducts are distributed to the ground floor and first floor. Two motorized fire dampers are installed on the ground floor, as well as two on the first floor. Two motorized fire dampers are also provided at the floor junction. The ductwork is regulated by constant volume flow controllers with downstream silencers. Disc valves (metal version) and swirl diffusers are used as air outlets. The building automation control cabinet is installed in the building services room on the first floor. This is included in the building automation system and controls and regulates all technical systems/pumps, etc. It is connected to the fire alarm system and to remote access. Operation is via a central room control unit. The control is based on the measured CO2 concentration in the exhaust air duct. In summer operation, the system can be used for free night cooling. Kitchen ventilation system: The kitchen is supplied by a separate supply/exhaust air unit with heat recovery and an air volume flow of approximately 2,100...
