REPUBLIC OF GHANA MINISTRY OF ROADS AND HIGHWAYS DEPARTMENT OF FEEDER ROADS   REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (INDIVIDUAL CONSULTING SERVICES) Name of Project Ghana Market Access and Connectivity Project (GMACP)-Project Preparatory Grant Grant Number IDA-E6230 Assignment Title Engagement of Individual Consultant to Review the Detailed Engineering Designs for the Ghana Market Access and Connectivity Project (GMACP) Procurement Plan Ref Number GH-MRH-DFR-563700-CS-INDV Country of Delivery Ghana The Government of the Republic of Ghana has received a Grant from the World Bank toward the cost of the Project Preparation for the Ghana Market Access and Connectivity Project (GMACP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the Engagement of Individual Consultant to Review the Detailed Engineering Designs for the Ghana Market Access and Connectivity Project (GMACP).   The primary objective of this assignment is to conduct an independent review of the Detailed Engineering Design output and deliverables prepared by the DFR in-house team.   The Consulting services ("the Services") include review and validation of the Detailed Engineering Design outputs and deliverables prepared by the DFR in-house team to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, compliance with the Terms of Reference and applicable standards, constructability, cost reliability, bid readiness, and to provide actionable recommendations for improvement. The Individual Consultant is expected to undertake the following activities among others:   Assess the adequacy of the topographical survey methodology, the accuracy and completeness of the Digital Terrain Models and mapping, the coverage of all relevant road and surrounding features, and the quality and compliance of the survey deliverables including survey reports, coordinate list and topographic maps with the required specifications.
