• The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Gambia Inclusive and Resilience Agriculture Value Chain Development Project ( GIRAV) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for CONSTRUCTION OF 40 COMPOST CHAMBERS FOR THE WYLAF GARDENS For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.
• The Central Project Coordinating Unit (CPCU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders or Contractors to bid for CONSTRUCTION OF 40 COMPOST CHAMBERS FOR THE WYLAF GARDENS at 14 Marina Parade Banjul where the Office is situated and all the eligible contractors with the required qualifications and experience are required to bid.
• Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (Second Edition - February 2025) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Central Project Coordinating Unit; Att: Mamour Alieu Jagne Project Coordinator, mamouralieu.jagne@cpcu.gm / bubacarr.jallow@girav.cpcu.gm and inspect the bidding document during office hours. 09: 00am to 16: 00pm at the address given below.
