Specific Procurement Notice Template   Request for Bids Goods (Two-Envelope Bidding Process)   Country: The Gambia Name of Project: Gambia Inclusive and Resilience Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV) Contract Title: Procurement of Climate smart Equipment, support to NARI Grant No: IDA9109 – GM RFB Reference No.:   GM-CPCU-454336-GO-RFB The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Gambia Inclusive and resilience Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV) and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract[1] for the Procurement of Climate smart Equipment, support to NARI “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.” 2.      The Central Project Coordinating Unit (CPCU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders or Suppliers to bid for the Procurement of Climate smart Equipment, support to NARI. Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4 3.         Bidding will be conducted through Limited competitive   procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (Fourth Edition - November 2020) (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.         Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents.
