Opportunity Overview

TII intends to enter into Multi Party Framework Agreement for Luas Electrical Renewals and Upgrade Works (Low Voltage) for the Luas Light Rail System. This IMPQQ competition aims to identify and shortlist highly qualified electrical contractors with proven electrical expertise and experience in Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems for light rail or heavy rail infrastructure, specifically in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and compliance of railway electrical systems at LV level. This framework, when established, will be available to TII to draw down from it on a CallOff Contract basis, (PW-CF2 and PW-CF4). The Applicant must demonstrate a strong track record of delivering complex electrical works in live operational rail environments, ensuring safety, quality, reliability, and full regulatory compliance. The Applicant must demonstrate their experience in the design, installation, testing, commissioning of safetycritical electrical systems in live railway environments and compliance of various railway electrical LV systems. Applicants must demonstrate their experience working in live railway environment and must be capable of acting as the Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) and the Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS) in accordance with Irish health and safety legislation. TII are inviting expressions of interest from interested parties to be selected to tender with a view to entering into the Contract. Applicants are referred to the Information Memorandum and Prequalification Questionnaire (IMPQQ) which provides additional information in relation to the competition. Provided that there is a sufficient number of suitable Applicants, TII intends to invite the number of Applicants (as indicated in this IMPQQ) to tender. Prior to shortlisting any Applicant, TII reserves the right to seek verification of any declarations made in the response to the ESPD/IMPQQ.
