Specific Procurement Notice Competitive Bidding through Government E-Market (GeM) Request for Bids Goods Employer:  Assam Health Infrastructure Development and Management Society (AHIDMS), Government of Assam Project:  Assam State Secondary Healthcare Initiative for Service Delivery Transformation (ASSIST) Project Contract title: Procurement of Desk and Bench Set for Classroom/Training Area Country:  India Loan No. : 9570-IN GEM BID No: GEM/2026/B/7765926 Issued on:  17.07.2026   1.     The Assam Health Infrastructure Development and Management Society (AHIDMS), Government of Assam   (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has obtained   financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (the “Bank”) in the form of a “loan” (hereinafter called  [ “loan”] toward the cost of Assam State Secondary Healthcare Initiative for Service Delivery Transformation (ASSIST) Project. The Assam Health Infrastructure Development and Management Society (AHIDMS) ,  an implementing agency of the Client, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued. Payments by the Bank will be made only at the request of the Assam Health Infrastructure Development and Management Society (AHIDMS), and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the loan agreement. The loan agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the loan   account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Bank, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
