GOVERNMENT OF JAMAICA MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SKILLS, YOUTH & INFORMATION JAMAICA EDUCATION PROJECT (JEP) REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION FIRM (RE-TENDER) Loan No.: 9586-JM The Government of Jamaica has received financing from the World Bank for the implementation of the Jamaica Education Project (JEP), and intends to apply part of the funds towards consulting services for a Construction Supervision Firm . Consequently, the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth & Information (MoESYI) is seeking to engage a Construction Supervision Firm to be responsible for the supervision of all construction works involved in the building of one (1) STEM School in Minard, St. Ann. The engaged Construction Supervision Firm will administer the Design and Build Contract to ensure that the contractual clauses, with respect to both quality and quantity of work are adhered to and the works are executed in accordance with the provisions of the Contract. The MoESYI now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The detailed Terms of Reference and Expression of Interest Standard Form are available for download as of January 14, 2025, on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement platform at www.gojep.gov.jm . The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
