Request for Proposals Works (Design and Build)     Employer : Ministry Of Health And Medical Services (Kiribati) Project: Kiribati Health Systems Strengthening Project (P176306) Contract title : Design and Build of the New Kiritimati District Hospital, Including Fixed Medical Equipment Country: Kiribati Loan No. /Credit No. / Grant No.: IDA-E4320 RFP No: KI- KIR-MHMS-553968-CW-RFP Issued on: August 2026   The Government of Kiribati has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kiribati Health Systems Strengthening Project (P176306) , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Design and Build of the New Kiritimati District Hospital, Including Fixed Medical Equipment . The Ministry Of Health And Medical Services now invites Proposals from the eligible  Proposers for the Design and Build of the New Kiritimati District Hospital, Including Fixed Medical Equipment. The Works comprise the design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover of the new Kiritimati District Hospital, including associated infrastructure, building services and fixed medical equipment, to be delivered under a staged Phase 1 structure comprising Stage 1A Base Works and priced Optional Stage 1B and Optional Stage 1C Works. The procurement will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Proposals (RFP) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” , Seventh Edition, September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Proposers.
