Maharashtra Strengthening Institutional Capabilities in Districts for Enabling Growth Operation

The development objective of the Maharashtra Strengthening Institutional Capabilities in Districts for Enabling Growth Operation Project for India is to strengthen institutional capabilities, services, and the data ecosystem for enabling inclusive growth in districts of Maharashtra. The MahaSTRIDE Operation supports a portion of the government program for 2024–2030 across three results areas (RAs) aiming at strengthening district-level systems for enabling growth, improving access for businesses to time-bound e-government services, and strengthening state institutions for data-driven policy and decision-making. RA I: Strengthened district-level systems for enabling growth, will incentivize coordination, evidence-based planning, partnerships with private sector, and strong monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems; RA II: Improved access for businesses to time-bound e-government services, will focus on government services captured under the BRAP issued periodically by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, GoI; and RA III: Strengthened state institutions for data-driven policy and decision-making, aims to build capacity for data sharing, dissemination, and use. It seeks to strengthen MITRA to enable it to lead coordination in the implementation of the One Trillion Dollar (OTD) Roadmap.
