REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES - INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT - CIVIL ENGINEER (PART-TIME)) Republic of North Macedonia Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Agriculture Modernization Project Loan No.: 9037-MK Assignment Title: Individual Consultant - Civil Engineer (part-time) Reference No.: AMP-IC-3.7-1 The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia (MAFWE) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agriculture Modernization Project (AMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The Project aims to improve competitiveness in targeted agricultural sub-sectors and strengthen agricultural public sector readiness for EU accession. The main objective of this assignment is to oversee the building and reconstruction activities implemented under Sub-component 1.2 - Agriculture and Food Distribution Systems and Sub-component 2.2 - IPARD Implementation Capacity. The assignment relates primarily to the Collection and Conditioning Center (CCC) in Strumica municipality, the Agri-Food Platform (AFP) in the Skopje suburban area, and the renovation and adaptation of the office building intended to accommodate the increased needs of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development (AFSARD).
