• This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared UNB Online Notice number OP00336801 dated 31st January 2025
• The Government of the Republic of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation in Malawi (ASCENT) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Supply and Delivery of Cables, Conductors and 10mm Single Core Copper Wire. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.
• The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) Ltd now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Cables, Conductors And 10mm2 Single Core Copper Wire to be delivered to Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu and Zomba . Items requirements are as indicated below.
