Country: Republic of Mozambique Name of Project:  Mozambique Safer Roads for Socio-Economic Integration (SRSEI) PROGRAM Grant number:    IDA-E0780 Job title: Road Safety Infrastructure Specialist Reference Number: MZ-PMU-559383-CS-INDV The Government of Mozambique, represented by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics (MTL), has received funding from the World Bank for the Mozambique Safer Roads for Socio-Economic Integration (SRSEI) and intends to apply part of the resources to consulting services. The consulting services ("the Services") involve ensuring that all project lifecycle phases strictly comply with international and national road safety standards. The selected Road Safety Specialist shall lead, manage, and oversee the relevant institutional and engineering tasks.The expected duration of the project is 24 months. There will be a probationary period of 3 months from the date of signing the contract. The contract will be renewed upon satisfactory performance. The Road Safety works in close coordination with the PMU Road Safety Specialist and reports to the SRSEI Program Implementation Unit (PIU) through the PIU Coordinator, who reports directly to the Portfolio Coordination Unit (PCU) Coordinator.
