Niger Integrated Urban Development and Multi-sectoral Resilience Project

The development objectives of Commercialization and De-Risking for Agricultural Transformation Project for Rwanda are to increase the use of irrigation and commercialization among producers and agribusiness firms in supported value chains, and to increase access to agricultural finance. This project has four components. 1) The first component, Value Chain and Infrastructure Development, has the following sub-components: (i) Irrigation rehabilitation and development; (ii) Land husbandry; and (iii) Innovation and services for agri-business value chain development. 2) The second component, Agricultural Finance and Insurance, has the following sub-components: (i) Scaling up agricultural finance; and (ii) Strengthening agricultural insurance. 3) The third component, Project Management, will ensure the smooth implementation of the project. 5) The fourth component, Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC), will allow for rapid reallocation of the project’s uncommitted funds in the event of an eligible emergency.
