The objective of the Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services Project for Nigeria is to reduce under-five mortality rate in program areas. The Project has four components. 1. Malaria Control component will focus on: (a) Strengthening Service Delivery and (b) Health Systems Strengthening and Technical Assistance. 2. Immunization Plus component will additionally focus on (c) Vaccines, Cold Chain and Logistics. 3. Knowledge for Change component will entail: (a) Strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation Systems; (b) Integrating Social Behavior Change Communications and (c) Learning Agenda. 4. Contingent Emergency Response Component (CERC) will serve as a first-line financing option for emergency response.
