• The Islamic Republic of Pakistan herein after called the Borrower has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Solid Waste Emergency and Efficiency Project (SWEEP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Dump Site Closure Works at Jam Chakro Karachi.
• The Project Implementation Unit, SWEEP, Karachi now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of Dump Site Closure Works at Jam Chakro Karachi described above.
• Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using Request for Bids Works using Single Stage Two-envelope method, as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
