REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SELECTION)     Country Pakistan   Name of Project Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) (Component-II Strengthening Hydromet and Climate Services) / Modernization of Hydromet Services of PMD in Pakistan (MHSP)   Loan No. / Credit No. / Grant No. IDA-73330   Assignment Title Selection of Procurement Specialist   Reference No. PK-PMD-542130-CS-INDV   The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Hydromet and Climate Services under the Component-II of Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for subject consulting services.   Title/ Position Qualifications Experience Procurement Specialist Master Degree or equivalent (minimum sixteen years of education) in business, engineering, procurement, logistics management or supply chain management; or equivalent. Diploma or certification in procurement, supply chain management or project management will be accorded due weightage. At least, eight (08) years of documentary verifiable experience, after acquiring stipulated qualifications, in procurement of Goods, Works, Consulting & Non-consulting services.  Knowledge and implementation experience of various international/ national/subnational public procurement rules shall be accorded due weightage. Must have proficiency in English Proficient in the use of computers (MS Office, Project Management Tools etc.)   The Project Implementation Unit – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PIU-PMD) now invites eligible Individuals (“Consultants”), to indicate their interest in providing the Services.
