• The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the multiple contracts for Supply and Installation, Testing of Six Nos. 132kV Grid stations along with Transmission Lines, 9000 Nos. Transformer Monitoring System and 46 Nos. 11kV Feeders: The current Invitation for Bids is only for the Contract for “Supply of Spun/PCC Poles For Rehabilitation Of 11KV Feeders (Lot Wise)”.
For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
• Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of Spun/PCC Poles For Rehabilitation Of 11KV Feeders (Lot Wise).

• Bidding (Single stage Single Envelope) will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB)using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2023“Procurement Regulations” and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations
