Poland – Miscellaneous general and special-purpose machinery – Centrifugal Vertical Turbine Pumps

The scope of work for this package consists of the design, fabrication, testing and delivery of 33 vertical turbine pumps of various sizes and their associated drawings, data sheets, and other documentation for each of the three nuclear power plants planned for the Poland AP1000 Project. Circulating Water System (CWS) fish spray pumps and debris spray pumps remove fish and debris from traveling screens. There are 6 total CWS debris spray pumps (2 x 100% per unit) with a rated flow of 1662 m3/hr and pump head of 77.2 m. There are 6 total CWS fish spray pumps (2 x 100% per unit) with a rated flow of 1200 m3/hr and pump head of 50.4 m. CWS plant cooling pumps supply water to heat exchangers. There are 6 total CWS debris spray pumps (2 x 100% per unit) with a rated flow of 1.1 m3/s and pump head of 42 m. Raw Water System (RWS) pumps transfer water to the desalination plant. There are 3 total RWS pumps (1 x 100% per unit) with a rated flow of 1291 m3/hr and pump head of 46 m. There are 6 total Service Water System (SWS) service water pumps (2 x 100% per unit during normal operation, 2x50% during shutdown) with a rated flow of 2643.8 m3/hr and pump head of 61.5 m. The SWS fish/debris spray functions are combined into 1 pump, and there are 6 total SWS spray pumps (2 x 100% per unit) with a rated flow of 600 m3/hr and pump head of 77.5 m. The design life of all pumps is 60 years. There shall be factory performance tests (shop performance testing) on the pumps. NOTE: The quantities and dimensions provided above are APPROXIMATE only.
