Renewable Energy Sector Development Project

The development objective of the Renewable Energy Sector Development Project for Saint Lucia is to inform the Government of Saint Lucia on the viability of its geothermal resource for power generation and strengthen the enabling environment to scale-up clean energy investments with the private sector. The project comprises of two components. The first component, geothermal exploration drilling program will finance following sub-components: (i) exploration management; and (ii) exploration drilling. The second component, capacity building, technical assistance, and market engagement will finance the following sub-components: (i) project implementation support; and (ii) technical assistance, capacity building, and market engagement.
