Response - Recovery - Resilience for Conflict-Affected Communities in Ethiopia Project

The development objective of Response-Recovery-Resilience for Conflict-Affected Communities in Ethiopia Project is to (i) rebuild and improve access to basic services and climate-resilient community infrastructure and (ii) improve access to multi-sectoral response services for Gender-Based Violence (GBV) survivors; in selected conflict-affected communities in Ethiopia. This project has four components. 1) The first component, Rebuilding and Improving Access to Basic Services and Climate-resilient Community Infrastructure, has the following sub-components: (i) Community-based Rapid Response Basic Services; (ii) Community-based Recovery Activities; and (iii) Strengthening Institutions for Resilience. 2) The second component, Improving Access to GBV Response Services, has the following sub-components: (i) Expanding and Strengthening GBV Services in Conflict-affected Communities; (ii) GBV Prevention and Behavior Change; and (iii) Support to Coordination, Policy Development, and Research for GBV Prevention and Response. 3) The third component, Adaptive Project Management, has the following sub-components:(i) Project Management; and (ii) Learning and Adaptive Implementation. 4) The fourth component, Contingent Emergency Response Component, is included in the project in accordance with the Investment Project Financing (IPF) Policy, paragraphs 12 and 13, for situations of urgent need of assistance and capacity constraints.
